During the 62nd American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting and Exposition, the Multiple Myeloma Hub spoke to Dickran Kazandjian, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, US. We asked, Should carfilzomib, lenalidomide, and dexamethasone followed by lenalidomide maintenance therapy (KRd-R) become standard of care for high-risk smoldering multiple myeloma (SMM)?
Kazandjian discussed the results from a phase II clinical trial evaluating KRd-R in patients with high-risk SMM.
